PROPOSED FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Multi Media Kentron TV CJSC (Kentron TV) would like to host a visiting fellow from Turkey who can follow domestic developments and news in the region. We believe this experience will allow the visiting fellow to have a better understanding of Armenia and will also contribute to healthy news exchange between Armenia and Turkey.
The fellow is expected to cover regional, cultural and political news and news analyses. The fellow will participate in shootings, news making process, get acquainted with journalists’ activity in Armenia.
EXPECTED PROFILE
Kentron TV will be pleased to host a journalist, regional reporter, analyst or commentator with:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in reporting/news making.
- Good command of English
- Editing and narrating skills are assets
CONDITIONS OF THE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The fellow is expected to be present at Kentron TV from Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day, free on Saterdays and Sundays, as well as during Armenian and Turksih public holidays. The visiting fellow should be ready to travel inside Armenia to follow the news.
PROPOSED TIME FOR THE FELLOWSHIP (OCTOBER 2016 – JUNE 2017)
4 months from October 2016 – January 2017, though longer options are also possible (8 months from October 2016 to June 2017) based on the agreement between the fellow and Kentron TV.
