Within the scope of the 'Contemporary Art in Armenia' lecture series, supported by the Calouste Gülbenkian Foundation, four different events will be organized in the Hrant Dink Foundation between 7 - 23 December 2018.

As a part of the Armenian Contemporary Art lecture series supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the last event held by artist Ruben Malayan with his speech took place under the title of Armenian Calligraphy Tradition: Past, Present and Future.

With the partnership of Houshamadyan and Hrant Dink Foundation a series of events were held in Hrant Dink Foundation. First event was held in 22 November 2018 as a panel. Second event was held on 23-24 November 2018 as an workshop.

Grape has a unique place in Armenian culture. "Feast of Grape" is celebrated on in August every year. We have made a compilation from our oral history archives on how Armenians celebrated this feast in Anatolia in the recent past.

In the scope of 35th Foundations Week, "Foundations Established by Women", Hrant Dink Foundation and Kalfayan Orphanage Foundation present a panel "Sister Srpouhi Kalfayan's 152 Year's Foundation".

The second workshop of the Social Science Graduate Students Workshop Series was organized on 29 March 2018. During the second workshop, three theses about the Armenian identity in general and in Turkey were discussed.

Rob Perks and Mary Stewart from the British Library and Oral History Society gave presentations during the panel moderated by Prof. Dr. Arzu Öztürkmen from the History Department of Boğaziçi University.

History and Memory Research Fund, created with the kind assistance of Dr. Alper Öktem in 2010 aimed at promoting and supporting research geared towards revealing scrupulous acts of conscience during the 1915 events.

Scholars from National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia visiting Istanbul as part of Hrant Dink Foundation’s Turkey-Armenia Programme will be discussing the history and current trends of Armenian architecture.

The workshop, led jointly by Rob Perks and Mary Stewart will cover the practical, technical and ethical issues around the selection, collection and description of oral history and other recorded personal testimony and spoken word.

The purposes of these workshops are to facilitate discussion about topics related to the Armenian Studies such as Armenian history and culture and to strengthen the dialogue among researchers.

Two distinct institutions, National Library of Armenia from Yerevan and Haigazian University from Beirut, that were in Istanbul for the first time, discussed whether it is possible to overcome geographical distances through digital connections.
