What is KarDes?

KarDes creates walking routes by collecting unknown multicultural stories of the past and makes them available with Turkish and English audio. Users can embark on a multi-layered journey of discovery in the past of the districts by walking these routes, called "memory tours", accompanied by oral history videos and old photographs. In addition to memory tours, they also have the opportunity to learn which cultural heritage structures are in the regions where they live, through the Explore page.
