The Western Armenian Language Courses, which The Hrant Dink Foundation conducts in partnership with The Gulbenkyan Foundation, will start its new semester in 23 January 2017. As it was in the previous semesters, under the instruction of Sevan Değirmenciyan the course will take place in The Hrant Dink Foundation Anarat Higutyun Building - Istanbul. The course will last for 3 months in 3 profeciency levels, 2 days and 6 hours every week, totaling to 75 hours of coursework.

At the end of the course the participants will have the following qualifications:

Level One (A1): A participant at this level is a starter and will learn the alphabet, will be able to use daily expressions and will understand sentences with basic structures. Classes will be held on Mondays and Thursdays, between 18:00-21:00.

Level Two (A2.1): A participant at this level has the skills of Level One, and will learn to understand the context of a given text and to express themselves in areas of interest. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 18:00-21:00.

Level Three (A2.2): A participant at this level has the skills of Level One and Two, and will learn to understand texts and will express themselves written and orally. Classes will be held on Wednesdays between 18:00-21:00 and on Saturdays between 10:00-13:00.
