Evolved from a grant-giving program into a reputable research center, Migration Research Center conducts and participates in a range of research projects in order to strengthen research capacity in the field of migration. MiReKoc also organises international conferences, workshops and seminars to discuss various research agendas in the field of migration. With the objective of connecting the migration debate in Turkey to the ongoing debates and research in different contexts and settings, MiReKoc endeavours to develop collaboration between migration scholars, civil society organisations and policy makers to stimulate dialogue on existing and new research. Since 2011, MiReKoc organises the annual International Summer School, a flagship program bringing together migration experts from all over the world.

MiReKoc provides visiting fellows a vibrant research environment to pursue their research, attend Koç University’s events, present their work, and expand their network for possible future collaboration.

The call is open to MA/PhD/post-doc and above level applicants. According to profile and the experience of the fellow, we have different proposals to be working together:

Now, we would like to have larger diversity in our database and extend its content. The fellow could work on a topic of her/his interest in relation to forced migration and contribute to the database
