Dünya Newspaper is the leading business and finance journal in Turkey. The publication mainly covers news about markets and business world. The aim of Dünya is to provide information about the developments in various sectors, financial markets, technology and to inform about investment opportunities. Dünya mentions politics as far as political developments have an impact on economy. Dünya newspaper is looking for a fellow for the foreign desk.
As globalisation gained momentum and what happens in the world shapes local developments, Foreign Desk is one of our key departments. Foreign Desk follows global economy and covers companies worldwide, global markets (like stock exchanges, currency and commodity markets). Regional developments and reports published by leading banking groups or research companies are also an interest for the deportment.
EXPECTED PROFILE
- To be interested in international economic and political developments and being able to analyse them,
- Advanced writing skills,
- Very good command of English.
CONDITIONS OF THE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The program scheduled to take in week days between 9:00 and 18:00. Saturday is holiday because the paper is not published on Sundays.
Fellowship will be implemented in Istanbul, Turkey.
