Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant continues to increase direct contacts and to promote cooperation between the peoples of the two neighbouring countries.

During April-June 2017 application period, Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant received a total of 46 applications from both countries. We are delighted to announce that in this round, the Hrant Dink Foundation will be offering support in the form of a travel grant to a total of 44 individuals13 from Armenia, 31 from Turkey – for their visits to the neighbouring country with specific purpose and programme.

Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant 12th Round Grantees 

Mehmet Nihat Şan, Sercan Kırmızı, Şevin Tepe and Duru Ors from Izmir, musicians from “Armenian Children” Music Band will be supported with Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant to visit Yerevan for making music workshops with children and preparing a joint concert with Music of Armenia and other organisations.  

Hripsime Arakelyan from Ashtarak, Narine Poghosyan from Martuni, Siranush Ghazanchyan from Gavar, Lusine Petrosyan, Syuzanna Sargsyan from Yerevan, bloggers and newsmakers of Media Center of Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educomplex, Hasmik Dilanyan from Ararat, Armine Gevorgyan from Abovyan, Hasmik Martirosyan, Naira Mayilyan and Alisa Gevorgyan from Yerevan, newsmakers from “Radiolur” news agency will be supported with Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant to visit Istanbul for exchanging knowledge and discussing ways of cooperation with the journalists of CNN Turk.

Ahmet Cem Özen from Istanbul, member of 3H Movement, will be supported with Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant to visit Yerevan for meeting representatives of political parties, civil society organisations, think-tanks and opinion leaders in Armenia to discuss Turkish-Armenian relations in order to gain insight for his upcoming article.

Rudi Kami Değirmenci, Diran Robin Alatcıyan, Masis Öznigolyan, Sesilya Arslanyan from Istanbul, students of Getronagan Armenian High School, Arman Çatal, Arda Özçin, Lerna Geçer, Ayk Gezer from Istanbul, students of Sahakyan Nunyan Private Armenian High School, Aris Dikran Nişan, Melissa Kaldılı, Aren Zurnacı from Istanbul, students of Esayan Armenian High School,  Jan Samurkaş, Larissa Selin Dayan from Istanbul, students of Pangaltı Mıhitaryan Armenian High School, Masis Kara from Istanbul, student of Feriköy Merametçiyan Armenian Elementary School, Arlin Boyacı from Istanbul, student of Private Levon Vartuhyan Armenian Elementary School,  Roni Kolukısayan from Istanbul, student of Private Karagözyan Armenian Elementary School, Aksel Ebemıgıryan, Ari Karakaş, Burag Çiçekçiyan from Istanbul, students of Private Tarkmanças Elementary School and Melisa Arslanyan from Istanbul, editor of TET Agenda will be supported with Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant to visit Yerevan  for attending the summer camp organised by Tumo Center for Creative Technologies.    

Çiğdem Üçüncü and Fatma Serra Akçan from Istanbul, photographers at NarPhotos will be supported with Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant to visit Yerevan for making photography workshops with their colleagues from 4Plus and discuss future plans for cooperation.

Şirin Duygulu Elçim from Istanbul, assistant professor at Istanbul Şehir University will be supported with Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant to visit Yerevan for conducting interviews with civil society representatives in Armenia to complete their research on Turkey-Armenia reconciliation process.

Diana Amirbekyan and Sarra Demirtshyan from Yerevan, representatives of Youth Life NGO, will be supported with Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant to visit Istanbul and Hatay (Antakya), as they are participating in an exchange project “Cultural brainstorming for friendship” implemented by youth organisation Uluslararası Defne Gençlik Eğitim Derneği.

Arsen Petrosyan from Charentsavan, professional duduk player, will be supported with Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant to visit Istanbul for making performance and workshops for duduk music including music therapies in partnership with Danny S. Lundmark – a music therapist living in Istanbul.

Mustafa Kadem and Emine Sarsık from Izmir, photographers from Unlimited Shadows, will be supported with Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant to visit Yerevan for photographing people from rural and urban areas by using shadows and silhouettes.
