The Turkey-Armenia Fellowship Scheme was launched by the Hrant Dink Foundation in 2014 with a view to promote experience sharing between two countries by supporting various activities from academia, civil society, media, culture and arts, law, health, economy, information technologies and many others in which cooperation is much needed.

Between April 2020 and July 2021, the Fellowship Scheme will be implemented within the framework of the programme Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalization Process: Stage 3 supported by the European Union and in cooperation with Gyumri Youth Initiative Centre NGO. The programme will offer 8 experts from Armenia and Turkey in total the opportunity to live and follow a special programme at a specific Host Organisation in the neighbouring country for one month.

The fellows, in addition to following their fellowship activities, have the chance to meet people and institutions working in their areas of interest and are able to learn the language of the host country.

Between the years 2014-2019 the Fellowship Scheme supported 53 professionals from Armenia and Turkey to follow a programme at a specific host organisation in the neighbouring country.
