Organized by the Institut Français d’Études Anatoliennes (IFEA), the Seventh Archeology Meetings of the Cultural Heritage Unit was organized at the premises of the Institute in Istanbul, between 22 and 23 of November, 2016. Titled as "Preservation, Restoration, Valorization: Diversities and ambiguities of cultural heritage policies in urban contexts", the meeting was enriching in its content.

Hrant Dink Foundation's Cultural Heritage team participated in the meeting with a presentation on "Creative and Adaptive Reuse of Sites of Memory in Anatolia". Selin Sönmez and Vahakn Keshishian presented the Foundation's several cultural heritage projects and the ongoing project with the same title. The focus was on how to integrate participatory and bottom up processes to the projects.
